This goes to show that Utah is really a great place to live and raise a family. The state is letting us know that when our local banks bail on us, we can depend on them to help us out.
Last month, Wells Fargo, J.P. Morgan Chase, Zions, and Key financial institutes pulled out of the state of Utah. So now, the great state of Utah will cover any student loan that was held with any of those banks. If you are a Utah college student and need financial assistance, you can now get it through the state with the help of the Utah Higher Education Assistance Authority, also known as UHEAA.
The Utah Higher Education Assistance Authority has access to over $121 million, ready to lend over the upcoming academic year.
This is great news for college students, and especially Salt Lake City. There are more colleges in this one city than throughout the state. Go Utah!

Great Blog can’t wait to hear more.
